Bengaluru, Sep 22: TimBuckDo, the Bengaluru-based on-demand convenience platform building India’s “Pink Collar Economy” through a verified, on-demand workforce of educated college students, has raised a bridge round backed by Srinath Setty, Co-Founder & CEO of Hosachiguru, investing through his family office, Trasa Ventures, and Adarsh Narahari, Founder & Managing Director of Primus Senior Living, as the company prepares to raise its Series A round in the coming months.

While the company has not disclosed the size or valuation of the bridge round, the fresh capital will support its next phase of expansion as it builds towards a larger Series A round in the coming months.

TimBuckDo is building an organised layer of verified college students, known as “Doers,” who help individuals and organisations address everyday convenience needs through flexible, on-demand services. Its growing service categories include elder companionship, pet care, child support, home business, and other assisted-convenience requirements. At the same time, the platform is creating structured, flexible earning opportunities for educated college students.

The bridge round brings together two entrepreneurs with operating experience across distinct sectors, with both investors bringing strategic relevance to TimBuckDo’s next phase of growth.

Adarsh Narahari, Founder & Managing Director of Primus Senior Living, brings more than a decade of experience in senior living and elder care. His investment has a direct strategic connection with TimBuckDo’s Companion Doer vertical, which enables elderly customers to access verified student Doers for companionship, errands and hospital escort support.

The model is designed around an emerging need among seniors who wish to maintain greater independence while continuing to live in their own homes and communities, while also creating meaningful opportunities for students to participate in the care and convenience economy.

Srinath Setty, Co-Founder & CEO of Hosachiguru, investing through his family office, Trasa Ventures, said:

“I’ve always been drawn to businesses that take something traditional and rebuild it with technology and scale. That’s exactly what Mythri and Apoorv are doing with TimBuckDo, and why I wanted to back them. The opportunity to organise and scale a trusted student workforce around everyday needs is compelling, and I look forward to supporting the team as they build the next phase of the business.”

Adarsh Narahari, Founder & Managing Director, Primus Senior Living, said:

“Primus was born from watching my grandmother want independence with dignity. TimBuckDo’s Companion Doer model extends that same idea beyond our communities into the homes of elders who are ageing on their own terms. It is a natural extension of the work we’ve spent over a decade on, and I’m glad to back the team as they build this category.”

Mythri Kumar and Apoorv Sharma Prasad, Co-Founders, TimBuckDo, said:

“Having Srinath and Adarsh back this round means a lot to us. They are two entrepreneurs we deeply admire, each having built category-defining businesses in their respective sectors. This bridge round gives us the runway and strategic backing to prepare for our next phase of growth, as we work towards our Series A and continue building the infrastructure for India’s Pink Collar Economy.”

TimBuckDo will deploy the bridge capital towards strengthening its technology platform, expanding its Doer network, deepening its presence across existing markets and building out key service categories ahead of its Series A.

The company’s larger ambition is to create a trusted and scalable marketplace that connects verified student talent with households and businesses seeking reliable, on-demand support, while enabling students to earn through flexible work alongside their education.

The company is backed by Rukam Capital, Turbostart, Arjun Vaidya and few other marquee investors and has partnered with organisations including Decathlon, Aditya Birla, ONDC and many more.

TimBuckDo is doubling down on its on-demand convenience platform, a single app where customers can discover, book and repeatedly rely on trusted, verified student Doers for support across categories such as elder care, pet care, child support, assistance for home-based businesses and everyday personal requirements. Demand is scaling fast, with usage compounding across early pilot markets and repeat bookings emerging as the clearest signal of product-market fit. The platform sits alongside the players that have spent the last decade teaching Indian consumers to trust on-demand convenience, solving an adjacent, previously informal need, with the infrastructure to make that trust scalable nationwide.
