Chandigarh, May 02Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. announced strong sales performance for April 2026, with total domestic and international passenger vehicle sales reaching 59,701 units, marking a 31.1% increase compared to 45,532 units in April 2025.

The company’s domestic passenger vehicle (PV) sales stood at 59,000 units, registering a robust growth of 30.5% year-on-year. International business (IB) sales also witnessed significant momentum, rising to 701 units from 333 units last year, reflecting an impressive 110.5% growth.

The total PV sales, including electric vehicles (EVs), reached 59,701 units, driven by strong demand across segments and continued market expansion.

Notably, the EV segment recorded exceptional growth, with combined domestic and international sales of 9,150 units, up 72.1% from 5,318 units in April 2025. This surge underscores Tata Motors’ leadership in India’s electric mobility space and growing consumer adoption of sustainable transportation solutions.

Segment-wise Performance:

  • PV Domestic: 59,000 units (up 30.5%)
  • PV International Business (IB): 701 units (up 110.5%)
  • Total PV Sales (including EVs): 59,701 units (up 31.1%)
  • EV Sales (Domestic + IB): 9,150 units (up 72.1%)
