Bengaluru, August 23, 2026: T. A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Bengaluru, a constituent institution of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), an Institution of Eminence Deemed to be University, unveiled a landmark white paper titled “How Organizations are Redefining Talent, Leadership and Productivity in the Age of AI.” at the MAHE Bengaluru campus in association with KPMG India. HR FutureScape 2026, a premier leadership conclave focused on the future of work, workforce and workplace, brought together leading industry voices and academic experts to examine how Artificial Intelligence is transforming organizations. The report highlights the growing need to rethink talent, leadership, skills and productivity as organizations move from AI experimentation to enterprise-wide adoption.
The inaugural session witnessed the presence of Dr. Raghavendra Prabhu, Additional Registrar, MAHE Bengaluru, and Dr. Navaneetha Krishnan S., Dean, TAPMI Bengaluru. It also brought together distinguished industry leaders including Anand Ramakrishnan, an alumnus of TAPMI and Managing Director, EQ India, Anand Talwai, Co-Founder and Executive Director, NextWealth Entrepreneurs Pvt. Ltd., and Narayanan Ramaswamy, Partner, KPMG India and National Head, Education & Skill Development Services. The conclave brought academia and industry together to discuss how AI is reshaping leadership, talent, productivity and the future of organizations.
Sharing his thought on the event, Prof. Madhu Veeraraghavan, Pro Vice Chancellor, MAHE Bengaluru, said, “India’s long-term competitiveness will depend not only on technological leadership, but also on developing people who can think critically, learn continuously, communicate effectively and work responsibly alongside AI. In his keynote address, Anand Ramakrishnan highlighted that, “modern business success is driven as much by people strategy as business strategy. He reflected on the five defining challenges facing organisations today, responsible AI adoption, managing hybrid workforces, leading multigenerational teams, adapting to evolving skills, and preserving organisational culture. While AI is reshaping the workplace, he emphasized that human judgement, adaptability and decision-making remain central to sustainable growth.”
Dr. Navaneetha Krishnan S. said, “The future of work will belong to organizations that successfully combine technological innovation with human potential. This event reflects TAPMI Bengaluru’s commitment to fostering meaningful conversations around leadership, talent and productivity, while enabling industry and academia to collaboratively shape the next chapter of workforce transformation.
The white paper was presented by Mr. Narayanan Ramaswamy. It highlights how organizations are moving beyond AI experimentation towards enterprise-wide transformation. While AI is enhancing decision-making, productivity and innovation, the report stresses the need to rethink skills, leadership capabilities, workforce models and organizational culture.
HR FutureScape 2026 was themed “Reimagining Work, Workforce and Workplace.” A key highlight was the C-Suite Roundtable on “Reimagining Leadership in the Age of AI.” The session featured senior leaders from BEML Ltd., Bosch Global Software Technologies, Paradeep Phosphates Limited, Madura Coats and Randstad India & Global Capability Centre. The conclave also featured a keynote address by Anand Ramakrishnan and a fireside conversation with Anand Talwai. The sessions explored leadership, organizational resilience, emerging talent ecosystems and the changing nature of work.
The HR Innovation Challenge gave emerging management talent an opportunity to address real-world business and workforce challenges. Through simulations focused on innovation, decision-making and leadership, the initiative connected classroom learning with contemporary industry challenges.
Through HR FutureScape 2026, TAPMI Bengaluru strengthened the dialogue between academia and industry on the future of work. By bringing together research, industry perspectives and emerging management talent, the conclave created a platform to explore practical responses to the opportunities and challenges created by AI. It also reinforced the importance of building agile, human-centric and future-ready organizations.
