Delhi, June 9 : Spice Money, India’s rural fintech platform, today announced the appointment of Nitin Sachdeva as Chief Human Resources Officer and the elevation of Rohit Sood as Chief Business Officer , further strengthening its leadership team as the company accelerates its mission of driving meaningful financial inclusion across Bharat.
The appointments come at a pivotal stage in Spice Money’s growth journey as it continues to expand its digital and assisted financial services ecosystem across rural and semi-urban India through its extensive network of entrepreneurs and partners.

Rohit Sood elevated as Chief Business Officer
Rohit Sood has been elevated to the role of Chief Business Officer after successfully leading the company’s digital growth, customer engagement and business acceleration initiatives over the past year. With over two decades of experience across retail, commerce, fintech and digital platforms, Rohit brings a rare combination of expertise in building and scaling large offline, online and phygital businesses.
Over the course of his career, he has played leadership roles across some of India’s most recognized consumer and commerce organizations including JioMart, Paytm, Otipy, Snapdeal, PepperTap, SPAR, Carrefour and Jubilant Retail. He has led businesses from inception to national scale, managed large P&Ls and built operating models spanning physical distribution, digital commerce and omnichannel ecosystems.
In his expanded role, Rohit will lead Spice Money’s business strategy and growth agenda across its core businesses, driving scale through deeper network engagement, stronger partner ecosystems and the creation of innovative financial solutions tailored for Bharat.
Nitin Sachdeva joins as Chief Human Resources Officer
Nitin Sachdeva joins Spice Money as Chief Human Resources Officer, bringing over 17 years of experience across fintech, consumer durables, media and technology organizations. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for driving culture transformation, leadership development and organizational effectiveness across high-growth and large-scale enterprises.
Prior to joining Spice Money, Nitin held leadership roles at BharatPe, Philips, Preethi, Network18 and Infosys, where he led talent transformation, organizational design, leadership capability building and workforce planning initiatives. He has been instrumental in helping organizations navigate periods of rapid growth, business transformation and regulatory evolution.
At Spice Money, he will spearhead the company’s people and culture strategy, focusing on leadership development, organizational capability, talent management and building a future- ready workforce to support the company’s next phase of growth.
