New identity reflects the firm’s evolution into a specialist investment manager with capabilities across public and private markets
Mumbai, Sept 08: Spark Asset Management Company, the asset management business of Spark Capital Group, today announced its rebranding as Spark Capital Investment Management, reflecting the evolution of its investment platform and its expanding capabilities across public equities, private credit and late-stage growth equity.
The rebranding follows a strategic review of the firm’s brand identity, which highlighted that its existing name and visual identity no longer fully reflected the scale, capabilities and direction of its investment management business. The new identity is intended to better reflect the institution the business has evolved into, while reinforcing its focus on delivering differentiated investment solutions across public and private markets.
The change is limited to the company’s name and visual identity. There will be no change to the firm’s ownership, leadership, investment philosophy, regulatory structure, investment teams, fund strategies, investor relationships or day-to-day operations.
As part of the Spark Capital Group, one of India’s integrated financial services groups, Spark Capital Investment Management today manages and invests approximately ₹4340 crore (US$434 million) through its Portfolio Management Services (PMS) and Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) offerings across public equities, private credit funds and late-stage growth equity funds.

The refreshed identity introduces a contemporary visual language that reflects the firm’s evolution, while retaining the values of integrity, discipline and long-term partnership that have defined Spark Capital’s investment management business.
The transition to the new identity will be implemented across the company’s branding, legal documentation and communications in a phased manner. Existing investors, portfolio companies and business partners will continue to engage with the same investment teams and operating platform, with no changes to existing mandates, fund structures or service arrangements.
