BOSTON, April 15 — Solect Energy today announced the opening of its new headquarters at 87 Hayden Rowe Street in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, marking a key step in the company’s continued growth as a leading provider of commercial and public-sector solar and energy storage solutions.
Designed to serve as Solect’s headquarters and to support its expanding team, the new facility provides a modern workspace built to bring teams together, host meetings with customers and partners, and enable regular in-person collaboration across engineering, development, operations, and business functions.

Solect Energy has been headquartered in Hopkinton since its founding in 2009, and the new facility reinforces its long-standing commitment to the community while supporting its expanding customer base across New England and throughout the Northeast.
Solect employs approximately 125 people, many of whom work from the Hopkinton headquarters. In addition to the new office facility, Solect also hosts its Construction and Services operations at its South Street facility in Hopkinton that supports project logistics, equipment staging, and field operations.
The company has completed more than 900 projects totaling over 185 MW of solar capacity for municipalities, schools, businesses, and nonprofit organizations. Solect was recently recognized by the Boston Business Journal as a top 10 clean energy employer in Massachusetts and by Solar Power World as a leading commercial solar developer in the United States.
While recent federal policy changes have created uncertainty in the renewable energy industry, demand for solar and energy storage remains strong. With supportive state policies in Massachusetts and across the region, Solect continues to invest in its capabilities to serve the Northeast commercial market.
