Bangalore, India May 06: Skope Kitchens, a delivery-first platform that enables food brands to scale while building its own portfolio of brands, has announced the launch of Kochi Kurry Klub (KKK), bringing the everyday flavours of Kerala to Bangalore. Developed in-house, the concept focuses on the kind of food that’s deeply familiar in Kerala but often missing from city menus; simple, comforting meals that are part of daily life rather than occasional dining.
While Kerala cuisine is widely known, much of what’s available in urban markets tends to lean towards festive spreads or restaurant-style interpretations. Kochi Kurry Klub takes a different approach, centering its menu around everyday staples; from appam and stew to puttu with kadala curry, and parotta with chicken roast, dishes that are more commonly found in homes and local tea shops across Kochi.
The idea for the brand came from a gap the team experienced firsthand. Despite the growing appetite for regional Indian cuisines, authentic Kerala meals; especially those rooted in Kottayam-style cooking, remain underrepresented in the delivery space. Kochi Kurry Klub aims to make these flavours more accessible, without overcomplicating the format or positioning them as premium dining.
“We didn’t want to build another ‘South Indian’ brand. The focus was to bring a very specific, everyday version of Kerala food; the kind people actually eat regularly. That meant staying close to home-style recipes and the tea-shop culture that defines so much of the cuisine;” said Arvind Krishnan, Founder and CEO, Skope Kitchens.
Tom Mathew, Co-Founder and COO, Skope Kitchens added: “The idea was never to make this feel like a one-time experience. It’s the kind of food people grow up eating, and we wanted to recreate that same comfort; something you can keep coming back to without overthinking it.”
At a time when regional cuisines are increasingly positioned as premium experiences, Kochi Kurry Klub takes a different approach. Priced at around ₹300 for two, the brand keeps Kerala’s everyday food simple, accessible, and true to how it’s meant to be eaten, making familiar, home-style meals easy to return to.
Kochi Kurry Klub operates on Skope Kitchens’ managed kitchen platform and is currently live across multiple locations in Bangalore, including JP Nagar, Marathahalli, and Kalyan Nagar. With this launch, Skope continues to expand its portfolio of in-house brands, building concepts designed for consistency, scalability, and repeat consumption in the delivery market.
