New Delhi, June 09: Sense International India (Sense India), India’s first and only national organisation dedicated exclusively to persons with deafblindness and multiple disabilities, will host the Udaan Annual Meeting 2026 from 8–10 June 2026 at the National Association for the Blind (NAB) Dwarka Campus, New Delhi.

The three-day residential gathering will bring together young adults with deafblindness from across the country to strengthen workplace readiness, leadership, digital inclusion and peer networks.

The Udaan Fellowship and Network support adults with deafblindness in building communication skills, confidence and pathways toward employment and community participation. Over time, Udaan has evolved into a vibrant peer-led platform where young adults learn from one another, develop leadership skills, and explore opportunities for greater independence.

Participants will engage in interactive and accessible sessions covering workplace expectations, internships and employment opportunities, assistive technology and digital inclusion, leadership development and peer learning. The gathering will also include need assessments to better understand individual aspirations and support requirements. Women and girls with deafblindness and multiple disabilities, will be encouraged to actively participate and take leadership roles.

“The Udaan Network demonstrates what becomes possible when adults with deafblindness and multiple disabilities are provided with the right opportunities, support systems and encouragement to thrive. This annual meeting is more than a gathering — it is a platform to build confidence, strengthen leadership, learn from peers and explore opportunities for employment and independence. By bringing together young adults from across the country, we are creating a community that inspires inclusion, amplifies aspirations and enables individuals to shape their own futures,” said Uttam Kumar, Chief Executive Officer, Sense International India.
