Gujarat, May 7: Sayaji Hotels has announced the launch of The Forest Chapter (TFC) by Sayaji, Sasan Gir, marking the hospitality group’s entry into immersive, nature-led experiential stays through its newly introduced sub-brand, The Forest Chapter.

Located near Gir National Park in Gujarat, the boutique retreat has been designed as a forest staycation destination focused on blending modern comfort with the region’s natural surroundings and wildlife experiences.
The property features 25 cottages and villas across Premium Cottages, Superior Cottages, and Suite Villas categories. The accommodations have been designed with earthy aesthetics, spacious interiors, and a nature-inspired ambience aimed at offering guests a tranquil and immersive stay experience.
In addition to accommodation, the resort offers locally inspired experiences designed to connect guests with the biodiversity, culture, and landscapes of Sasan Gir. Guests can also access jungle safari experiences available throughout the year in the region.
The culinary offering includes Ember & Leaf, a multi-cuisine dining concept inspired by regional flavours and global techniques, along with a rooftop café experience for open-air dining.
The property also includes landscaped outdoor spaces suitable for intimate celebrations, gatherings, and curated events.
Commenting on the launch, Rajendra Joshi, Associate General Manager, Sayaji Hotels, said:
“With the introduction of The Forest Chapter, we are proud to unveil a new hospitality vertical that reflects the evolving preferences of today’s traveller — one that seeks deeper connections with nature, authenticity, and immersive experiences like jungle safari. This launch marks a significant milestone for Sayaji Hotels as we expand beyond our established portfolio into thoughtfully curated, destination-led retreats. Sasan Gir, with its rich biodiversity and untamed beauty, is the perfect beginning to this journey.”
Manish Boghra, Managing Director, The Forest Chapter by Sayaji, Sasan Gir, added:
“It is an honour to bring The Forest Chapter to Sasan Gir, a destination that holds immense natural and cultural significance. Our vision was to create a retreat that not only complements its surroundings but also elevates the overall hospitality offering in the region. With Sasan Gir offering year-round safari experiences, unlike many wildlife destinations that remain closed during the monsoon, guests have the unique opportunity to explore the wilderness across seasons. We believe this property will offer a distinctive blend of comfort, authenticity, and meaningful experiences like jungle safari, setting a new benchmark for nature-led stays in the region.”
Strategically connected to Rajkot International Airport and Junagadh Railway Station, the resort aims to cater to urban travellers seeking accessible yet secluded getaway experiences.
With the launch of The Forest Chapter, Sayaji Hotels stated that it plans to further expand this hospitality vertical across India’s nature and wildlife destinations, combining experiential travel with the group’s established hospitality offerings.
