Mumbai, 29th September 2026: Bandra has a new neighbourhood table, and it comes with plenty of energy. Rola, the newest all-day diner at Pali Hill, opened its doors on 17th August 2026, bringing together breakfast, lunch, dinner, Neapolitan pizzas, home-style Indian curries and specialty coffee in a space designed for everything from a quick morning coffee to long dinners with friends. With a total seating capacity of 70 guests across indoor and outdoor spaces, Rola is built around the simple idea that good food and good company belong at the same table.
The name Rola draws inspiration from the best kind of noise: the laughter around a full table, the clinking of coffee cups, shared plates making their way across the room and conversations that continue long after the meal is over. That sense of joyful, everyday energy is reflected throughout the diner. A charming coffee cart greets guests outside, setting the tone for a space that feels equally suited to a first coffee of the morning, a leisurely lunch, a first date, a family meal or an after-work catch-up.
“For me, hospitality has always been about people. Good food is important, but it’s the conversations, the warmth and the feeling of wanting to stay a little longer that people remember. That’s the experience we wanted to create with Rola,” says Puneet Anand, Founder, Rola.
Food is at the heart of Rola, with a menu that moves comfortably across cuisines and occasions while maintaining a distinct sense of familiarity. Breakfast and brunch set the pace with dishes such as **Bombay Keema & Brun**, featuring slow-cooked spiced mutton keema, a fried egg and buttered pav, and Benedict Goes Bandra, which pairs toasted brioche and grilled chicken salami with silky hollandaise and tandoori pineapple salsa.
The House Kitchen celebrates the comfort of Indian home cooking, drawing inspiration from recipes associated with mothers, grandmothers and khansamas across the country. Khansama’s Nihari, a slow-cooked nalli nihari layered with marrow and fragrant spices, sits alongside Maa’s Sunday Mutton Masala, a deeply comforting home-style curry served with buttered pav. The menu approaches these familiar flavours with the intent of making them feel both nostalgic and contemporary.
Rola’s Neapolitan pizza selection adds another dimension to the menu, bringing together traditional pizza-making with playful Indian influences. The Kejriwal Pizza, topped with a sunny-side-up egg, green chillies and cheese, offers a familiar combination in pizza form, while the Truffle Malai Chicken Tikka Pizza places a beloved Indian flavour profile over a beautifully blistered Neapolitan base.
Desserts continue the balance between nostalgia and contemporary dining, with options including the Chai & Parle-G Cheesecake, which draws on a distinctly Indian childhood memory, and a silky Basque Cheesecake served with raspberry compote.
Coffee is an equally important part of the Rola experience. Beginning with the outdoor coffee cart and extending into a dedicated beverage programme, the menu includes familiar espresso-based favourites such as the Flat White and Hot Spanish Latte, alongside house signatures including the Mint Charcoal Mocha, Sea Salt Vanilla Mocha, Coffee Tonic and Affogato. The programme is designed to make Rola a destination not only for meals, but also for the everyday rituals around coffee, whether that means a morning pick-me-up or an afternoon pause between meetings.
With its mix of approachable food, specialty coffee and an easy-going atmosphere, Rola aims to become part of the everyday rhythm of Pali Hill and Bandra. Rather than being defined by a single meal or occasion, the diner is designed to evolve with its guests, offering a place to start the day, break for lunch, meet over coffee or settle in for dinner.
Located at Pali Hill, Bandra, Rola has a total capacity of 70 guests and opened on 17th August 2026.
Because menus may change and dining trends may evolve, but the simple pleasure of gathering around a full table remains timeless.
