New Delhi, Sep 09: In the month of POSHAN Maah, Pacific OneHealth hosted its ‘Micro Food Festival – Taste of Health’ in Karol Bagh, bringing together food, nutrition and preventive healthcare around the theme ‘Where Good Food Meets Good Health’. The community-focused event encouraged residents to look at everyday food choices as an important part of long-term health.
The festival also marked the opening of Pacific OneHealth’s new healthcare centre in Karol Bagh, with the facility inaugurated through a lamp-lighting and ribbon-cutting ceremony by Ms. Nidhi Ahuja, Secretary, Sewa Bharti, and Ms. Meenu Jain, CEO, Jhandewalan Blood Bank.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Swadeep Srivastava, President & Co-Founder, Pacific OneHealth, highlighted the importance of taking preventive healthcare beyond clinical settings and making healthier choices part of everyday community life.
The programme featured expert conversations on Indian food habits, nutrition, posture, stress management and healthy ageing. Padma Shri Prof. Dr. M. Wali, Senior Consultant & Director – Internal Medicine, was among the experts who participated in discussions around fall prevention, mobility and maintaining independence among older adults.
The event also featured Sonal Gupta, who engaged with visitors through a live healthy cooking demonstration, while RJ Adi from Radio City added an interactive element to the proceedings.
Food and wellness brands including Seasons of Cakes, The Saladbox, Today and Tomorrow Organic Foods, Abbott, Zivansh, Snaqq, Mom’s Dry Deli, VDH Foods and Spices, and Savapil Pharmaceutical showcased their offerings, drawing participation from visitors.
The initiative brought the conversation around nutrition and preventive wellness into the community, reinforcing the idea that healthier living begins with everyday choices.
