India, May 13: When we launched Muse Spark last month, we said we’d bring it everywhere. Today, we are — with faster voice responses in the Meta AI app, smarter AI glasses, and new ways to shop and get help in your conversations. Thanks to Muse Spark, Meta AI is now more capable, more contextual, and more useful in your everyday life.
Voice Conversations
In the Meta AI app, Muse Spark lets you talk naturally with the assistant — interrupt, switch topics, or swap languages. As you talk, Meta AI can generate images and pull up recommendations from Reels, maps, and more.
Available in India delivering responses in English, Hindi and Bengali.
We’re also bringing live AI to the app (a feature already available on our AI glasses), so you can point your camera at the world and ask about what you’re seeing in real time, whether that’s a landmark you’re passing or something you need help with around the house.
New Shopping Features
You can now ask Meta AI in shopping mode to search Facebook Marketplace listings near you alongside options from across the internet — bringing used and new items together in one place, with a map to see where each one is. From there, refine by price, style, or distance. You can also @ a specific brand or creator to browse their public content directly and scroll through products in a new grid format.
Powering Intelligence Across Our Glasses and Apps
Muse Spark is starting to gradually roll out on Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta glasses in the US and Canada over the next few weeks, and on Meta Ray-Ban Display this summer. Beyond the app and glasses, Muse Spark is starting to bring the same intelligence to Meta AI across WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Messenger, and Threads — in places like search bars, group chats, posts, and more. We’re testing a couple new experiences here too: side chats that let you tap the Meta AI icon from any group chat to get a quick, private answer grounded in what your group is discussing, and @meta.ai mentions in Threads posts and replies.
