Mumbai, Aug 20: Mphasis , a global AI-led, platform-driven technology solutions provider, today announced that its CRISIL Core ESG Rating has improved to 73 in fiscal year 2026, from its previous rating of 69, showcasing continued progress in the company’s ESG performance and its commitment to embedding responsible business practices across its operations.

Mphasis Advances ESG Performance with CRISIL Core ESG Rating Rising to 73

Mphasis’ overall CRISIL ESG Rating also increased to 67 in fiscal year 2026, from its previous rating of 64, supported by improvements across the Environmental and Social pillars. This performance reflects the company’s continued focus on strengthening environmental stewardship, fostering an inclusive and skilled workforce, safeguarding stakeholder interests, and maintaining robust governance practices.

Key areas contributing to Mphasis’ improved ESG performance include:

  • Environmental stewardship: Mphasis raised its renewable energy share to ~58% of its total energy mix in fiscal year 2026, up from 55% in fiscal year 2025.
  • Diversity and inclusion: Gender diversity across the workforce is approximately 35%, showcasing steady growth and continuous focus on building a more inclusive workplace.
  • Data security and stakeholder trust: Mphasis reported zero instances of data breach and nil stakeholder complaints from customers and value-chain partners, reinforcing focus on protecting stakeholder interests and maintaining trust.

The improved CRISIL rating builds on Mphasis’ broader sustainability journey, including its recent EcoVadis Silver Medal recognition, ranking among the top 15% of companies assessed globally. Mphasis has committed to near-term climate targets by 2035 and Net Zero by 2050 through SBTi, reports climate performance to CDP, aligns sustainability reporting with GRI Universal Standards, and tracks its contribution to the UN SDGs. The company has also earned a place in the S&P Global DJSI and Sustainability Yearbook.
