DENVER, Sept 9 — Modivcare, a leading provider of non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT), personal care services (PCS), and monitoring solutions, today announced the appointment of Marshalina “Marsha” Ramos, DNP, RN, as Chief Executive Officer of its Personal Care Services business, effective immediately.

Marsha brings more than 30 years of home care leadership experience spanning clinical, operational, and executive roles. She most recently served as founder and Chief Executive Officer of Visionary Group, LLC, an advisory firm serving home care and hospice organizations. She also served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Premier Home Health Care Services, Inc., a multi-state home care provider and held a number of senior roles at VNS Health, one of the nation’s largest providers of in home care. She joins Modivcare’s executive leadership team and will lead the company’s national PCS portfolio.

At Premier, Marsha oversaw home care, care management, and consumer-directed programs across seven states and 27 offices, stabilized referral relationships, grew census, and led the company’s transition to a new electronic medical record platform. Marsha spent 26 years at VNS Health (the Visiting Nurse Service of New York), one of the nation’s largest nonprofit home- and community-based care organizations, advancing from clinical intake to Vice President of Operations with responsibility for certified home care services across the organization’s regional offices.

Marsha is a registered nurse and holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Master of Science in Nursing. She serves on the Boards of the Home Care & Hospice Association of New Jersey and the New Jersey Collaborating Center for Nursing. She is based in New Jersey.
