22, September 2026: Kärcher India organised Kärcher Cleanup Day 2026 on 17 September, bringing together employees across the country to participate in clean-up activities at Delhi & Kolkata and contribute towards a cleaner environment. The initiative reflected Kärcher’s continued commitment to environmental responsibility and its broader sustainability goals.
Sustainability is an integral part of Kärcher’s long-term approach, with the company’s Sustainability Strategy 2030 focusing on Reducing Footprint, Driving Circularity, Taking Responsibility and Increasing Transparency. As part of its environmental goals, Kärcher is working to reduce the overall environmental impact of its operations, use natural resources responsibly, improve water efficiency and increase the recycling of waste. The company also places emphasis on increasing employee awareness of sustainability and encouraging responsible behaviour.
Kärcher Cleanup Day is one such initiative that brings this commitment to the ground. As part of the annual global initiative, Kärcher employees come together to clean their local surroundings and take direct action against waste. The initiative is also aligned with Kärcher’s focus on taking responsibility and encouraging employees to actively contribute towards environmental and social sustainability.
In India, 28 Kärcher employees participated in the clean-up activity at Delhi & Kolkata respectively. The team contributed to the cleanliness of the surrounding areas and reinforcing the importance of responsible waste management.
