This event, held at their newly established premises near Muniyur Gate, K.B. Cross Road in Turuvekere Taluk, Tumkur district, was attended by notable personalities.
K. Ratnaprabha, Former Chief Secretary, Government of Karnataka, and Founder-Chairperson of the Ubuntu Consortium, graced the event as the chief guest. In her address, she celebrated the progress of women in various sectors, particularly entrepreneurship. “Women are at the forefront of innovation in every field, setting benchmarks and inspiring future generations,” she remarked.
Emphasizing the challenges faced by women entrepreneurs, Ratnaprabha stressed the need for more supportive environments. “The entrepreneurial journey for women can be complex, navigating through societal expectations and administrative challenges. It’s crucial that they receive additional support and resources,” she added.
J.C. Madhuswamy, former Minister of Law and Parliamentary Affairs, praised the rising trend of women-led startups and called for enhanced government support. “There is a notable potential among women to lead in the business sector. However, they often need more encouragement. The government should introduce more supportive schemes to foster women entrepreneurship,” he advised.
