India’s 3rd Largest Plastics Expo HIPLEX 2026 to be held from August 7–10 at HITEX, will bring India’s Plastics Industry to Hyderabad

 

Hyderabad, July 14: The Telangana and Andhra Plastics Manufacturers Association (TAAPMA) is all set to host HIPLEX 2026 – International Plastics Expo, one of India’s largest and most influential plastics industry exhibitions, from August 7 to 10, 2026, at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad.

Organized with the support of the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India, Government of Telangana, CIPET, and several leading national plastics industry associations, HIPLEX 2026 is expected to attract industry leaders, manufacturers, technology providers, buyers, policymakers and entrepreneurs from across India and abroad.

The four-day expo, themed “The Rise of Atmanirbhar & Viksit Bharat in Amrit Kaal: Invest to Transform”, will showcase the latest innovations, machinery, raw materials, processing technologies, recycling solutions and finished products from across the plastics value chain.

Speaking about the event, Mr. Meela Jayadev, Convener, HIPLEX 2026, said, “The plastics industry continues to be a critical enabler of India’s manufacturing growth. HIPLEX 2026 will provide a powerful platform for technology transfer, business networking, investments and market expansion. Hyderabad, with its industry-friendly ecosystem and strategic location, offers the ideal destination for such a large-scale international event.”

HIPLEX has witnessed remarkable growth over the years. The previous edition held in 2023 recorded 480 exhibitors, over 41,600 business visitors, and occupied 17,000 square metres of exhibition space. Building on this success, HIPLEX 2026 is being expanded to 26,000 square metres, making it the largest edition in its history.

The expo will feature live demonstrations of plastics processing machinery; exhibitors representing every segment of the plastics value chain, a dedicated Recycling Pavilion, Interactive knowledge sessions and concurrent activities and Opportunities for investment, technology partnerships and market expansion

The exhibition profile includes plastics processing machinery, moulds and dies, raw materials, specialty chemicals, master batches, printing and packaging solutions, quality testing equipment, R&D, post-processing technologies and finished products.

The organizers expect participation from hundreds of exhibitors and tens of thousands of trade visitors, including manufacturers from sectors such as packaging, automotive, infrastructure, healthcare, agriculture, consumer goods and industrial products.

Hyderabad’s growing manufacturing ecosystem, progressive industrial policies, strong infrastructure and central location make it a preferred destination for industrial investments and business events. The city is also emerging as a major hub for plastics and polymer industries in South India.
