Chandigarh, May 20 : Indian Hotels Company India’s largest hospitality company, today announced the signing of a Gateway resort in Bharatpur, Rajasthan. This is a brownfield project.
Ms. Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, said,

Bharatpur, given its strategic location and the renowned bird sanctuary is well positioned to benefit from the demand for experiential travel in addition to hosting destination weddings and catering to the MICE segment. We are delighted to partner with Mr. Yadur Kapur for this project.”
Located on the Jaipur–Agra highway, the 105-key Gateway Bharatpur, Rajasthan will offer an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant and a bar. Recreational facilities will include a swimming pool and fitness centre. The hotel will feature a banquet hall spanning over 4,000 square feet, with supporting pre-function areas and meeting rooms, catering to weddings and corporate events.

“We are delighted to partner with IHCL to bring the Gateway brand to Bharatpur. We are confident this collaboration will position the destination as a preferred short haul leisure getaway.”
Bharatpur, located in eastern Rajasthan, is renowned for the Keoladeo National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s most important bird sanctuaries.
With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 67 hotels in Rajasthan including 24 under development.
