For healthcare brands, making innovation understandable to consumers can be as important as the innovation itself. With this, Abbott took a creator-led approach to bridge that gap—bringing internet audience closer to its healthcare innovations and giving them the opportunity to translate those experiences into relatable conversations for their audiences.

The initiative was designed as a brand-building exercise, with a clear objective: increase familiarity with Abbott and make its work across healthcare easier for consumers to understand, relate to and remember. Creators were positioned as the link between the brand’s innovations and everyday consumer conversations.

Rather than limiting the initiative to traditional event coverage, Abbott created an immersive experience where creators could explore different aspects of healthcare innovation. The event featured conversations and experiences spanning diabetes care, glucose monitoring, nutrition, movement, heart health, diagnostics and preventive healthcare.

The creator mix was deliberately diverse, bringing together voices from health, diabetes awareness, fitness and sports, physiotherapy, wellness, lifestyle and personal health journeys. This allowed the same brand experience to be interpreted through different perspectives and audience contexts.

The content strategy focused on allowing creators to tell the story in their own language rather than using a single, standardised narrative.

Sumedhh brought a sports and athlete-led health perspective, while Kaajal explored diabetes and heart health through stories and a curiosity-led reel. Simran positioned the experience as an immersive health-tech story, Aishwarya brought a physiotherapy and wellness lens, Krishika focused on glucose wellness, and Maahi connected the conversation with her lived experience of diabetes.

The campaign was extended across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Blogchatter community conversations and platform activations, with creator-first reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn content, articles and expert-led storytelling helping sustain the conversation beyond the event.

The campaign reached nearly ~ 1million people online through the conversations generated.

More significantly, a pre- and post-campaign survey run by Blogchatter’s consumer platform showed measurable improvement in consumer familiarity and understanding:

●      11.2 percentage-point increase in overall brand familiarity

●      20.1 percentage-point increase in association with innovation

●      20.4 percentage-point increase in awareness of Abbott’s stent portfolio

●      11.4 percentage-point increase in correct understanding of Ensure Diabetes Care

The campaign also generated conversations that moved beyond the event itself, with audiences connecting the content to personal health choices, family needs and experiences with diabetes care and products such as FreeStyle Libre.

Abbott Creator Experience drive demonstrates how creator engagement can move beyond visibility and become a brand-building tool. By giving creators first-hand exposure to healthcare innovation and allowing them to interpret it through their own expertise and experiences, Abbott turned complex healthcare subjects into more accessible consumer conversations—while delivering measurable gains in familiarity, innovation perception and product understanding.
