His Excellency Dr Nawab Mir Nasir Ali Khan Honoured with   ‘Commonwealth Medical Association Global Leadership Award’ at Commonwealth Secretariat, London

Hyderabad, 5th October 2026: His Excellency Dr Nawab Mir Nasir Ali Khan, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Hyderabad, India, was honoured with the coveted ‘Commonwealth Medical Association Global Leadership Award’ at the Commonwealth Medical Association Global Summit on Longevity and Healthy Ageing, held at the historic Commonwealth Secretariat, Marlborough House, London. 

Dr Nawab Mir Nasir Ali Khan was invited to the distinguished international summit as a Special Guest and Speaker, bringing together eminent medical professionals, healthcare leaders, experts and distinguished guests from across the Commonwealth and beyond. The summit focused on longevity, healthy ageing, healthcare innovation and the future of human wellbeing. 

As Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Hyderabad, Dr Nawab Mir Nasir Ali Khan was privileged to represent Kazakhstan at this prominent Commonwealth platform and engage in dialogue on global health, international cooperation and the importance of advancing healthier and longer lives. 

The Commonwealth, comprising 56 independent and equal member countries, provides a significant international platform for dialogue, cooperation, shared prosperity and people-to-people connections. The Commonwealth Secretariat at Marlborough House serves as the principal intergovernmental institution supporting cooperation among its member countries across areas including health, development, education, trade, governance, peace and sustainable development. 

The Commonwealth Medical Association (CMA), established in 1962, is an international professional organisation dedicated to strengthening medical cooperation across the Commonwealth, supporting National Medical Associations, promoting professional development and advancing healthcare and medical ethics. 

Speaking at the summit, Dr Nawab Mir Nasir Ali Khan expressed his deep appreciation for the invitation and the Global Leadership Award, describing the recognition as a profound honour and a significant milestone in his diplomatic and international journey. He emphasised the importance of international dialogue, knowledge-sharing and cooperation among nations in addressing global health challenges and advancing longevity, wellbeing and quality of life. 

Dr Nawab Mir Nasir Ali Khan’s commitment to healthy and sustainable living also extends to his role as Promoter and Managing Director of MAK Projects, where he has championed the philosophy of “Clean, Green, Healthy Living.” Through BTR Greens, MAK Projects promotes environmentally responsible development, green spaces and healthier lifestyles.
