Hector Reinvents Quick Commerce Optimisation with an Outcome-Driven Platform

Mumbai, September 17, 2026: Hector, Wondrlab’s proprietary commerce technology platform, today announced the expansion of its quick-commerce offering with an outcome-first, tech-led approach that brings advertising, inventory and market fulfilment intelligence together. Hector currently works with 350+ clients across India & USA, with its operations serviced full-time from India, while its quick-commerce practice serves approximately 20+ clients every month.

The expansion builds on Hector’s established position in marketplace advertising. Hector manages over ₹1,000 crore in annual ad spend and is ranked by Amazon among its top 20 advertising partners worldwide, out of more than 3,000 — the only independent Indian company on that list. Quick commerce is the next channel to which Hector is bringing that performance-marketing expertise.

Built for the complexity of quick commerce across platforms such as Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, and Zepto. Hector moves beyond conventional dashboards and reporting to enable action-oriented decision-making across the entire product journey — from vendor to dark store to platform to final customer.

Hector’s quick-commerce practice began inside its own agency operations, where its performance-marketing team was already running quick-commerce advertising for brands. That first-hand experience made the problems clear: campaigns could be optimised precisely and still fail to deliver, because the product was unavailable in the dark stores where demand was highest, or because stock had not moved from the warehouse to the front end. Hector took that expertise and extended the platform beyond advertising — bringing in purchase orders, supply chain, inventory and market intelligence as part of the same system.

Unlike solutions that focus primarily either on advertising or supply chain, Hector takes a 360-degree view of quick commerce, connecting both performance marketing with supply-chain and market intelligence to understand where demand is being created, where inventory is available, what competitors are doing on the shelf, and where interventions can drive better outcomes. Powered by Hector’s Model Context Protocol (MCP), the platform brings fragmented commerce and marketing data together with Hector’s performance marketing capabilities to create an actionable technology layer for decision-making and execution — an action-first approach to e-commerce, rather than a data-first one.

The approach is built around a simple principle: start with the outcome and work backwards. Whether the objective is greater savings, improved efficiency, incremental sales or better inventory performance, Hector is designed to identify the actions required and measure the impact delivered — rather than simply report what has already happened. A brand can ask why its market share fell and receive the answer split between availability, visibility and competitor pricing, with the corrective actions already initiated; it can identify a city where stock sits in the warehouse but not in the dark stores and escalate the transfer to the platform; it can create or adjust campaigns only where the product is actually on the shelf.

Saurabh Varma, Founder, Wondrlab Network, said, “The fundamental question we ask at Hector is not ‘what does the dashboard say?’ but ‘what outcome are we trying to deliver?’ Quick commerce is a particularly complex environment because advertising and inventory cannot be looked at in isolation. You can optimise an ad beautifully, but if the product isn’t available in the right dark store, the business outcome is lost. Our technology allows us to look at the entire journey and make decisions against the outcome that matters to the brand.”

The depth of Hector’s technology and data capabilities is also enabling a new commercial model. For the first time, Hector is able to commit to measurable outcomes for clients, making the value created for the brand central to the engagement.

Meher Patel, Founder, Hector AI, said, “We are not building another advertising dashboard or reporting layer. We are connecting the different parts of the quick-commerce ecosystem and working backwards from the outcome. That gives us the confidence to take greater accountability for the results we create for clients. The success of the platform should ultimately be measured by what it delivers for the brand.”

With its combination of technology, data and a 360-degree view of quick commerce, Hector is building a platform where brands can move from fragmented platform-level decision-making to a more holistic approach, connecting advertising, inventory and fulfilment to the business outcome that matters.
