Bhubaneswar: Leading real estate developer Group G today announced the official launch of the G Autumn League 2026, a two-month sports and wellness initiative designed to inspire movement, active living and community connection. Kicking off on October 2, 2026, the league will feature four marquee sports tournaments catering to corporate teams, residents and athletes across the region.
The league begins on Friday, October 2 with the G Corporate Table Tennis Tournament, setting in motion an expansive roster of events scheduled through November. The initiative directly addresses the health challenges posed by modern sedentary habits, shrinking recreational grounds and increased screen time among both adults and children.
”In real estate, every square foot has value and every square foot can be sold. So when we consciously choose to leave acres and acres of open space for sports and recreation, it reflects how seriously we believe in the benefits of an active lifestyle”, said Mr. Ashish Garg of Group G. “These spaces are not just amenities for us; they are an investment in the health, happiness and well-being of our residents. Sports should not be an afterthought or something families have to travel to access it should be woven into everyday living.”
The G Autumn League 2026 is projected to draw more than 2,000 participants, uniting corporate professionals, youth and sports enthusiasts from across Bhubaneswar.
Tournament Schedule: G Corporate Table Tennis Tournament: October 2, 2026, G Pickle ball Tournament: October 30, 2026, G Box Cricket Tournament: November 15, 2026, G RUN (Featuring Sonu Sood): November 29, 2026
The finale, G RUN, will bring together hundreds of runners alongside prominent actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood, underscoring the collective power of fitness and social bonding. With the launch of this league, Group G reinforces its broader development philosophy: building integrated townships where recreational infrastructure and open green corridors form the foundation for happier, healthier neighbourhoods.
