The Company has declared First Interim Dividend for FY27 of Rs. 1.25 per share.
*The Company transited into new tax regime w.e.f. April 01, 2026, and opted for concessional tax regime in accordance with Section 115BAA, which is subject to condition that the Company shall not avail deductions under Section 80-IA of the Income tax Act, 1961. Tax rate for current year is 25.17% whereas in the previous year effective tax rate was 9.57% due to availment of MAT credit. However there is insignificant increase in cash outgo for tax payment as it is 18.88% in current year as against 17.47% in previous year due to utilization of accumulated MAT credit in current year.
Prem Kishan Dass Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director, said, “The impact of the ongoing West Asia conflict continued during Q1 which led to imbalance and higher empty running. Further, hikes in fuel prices, significant revisions in minimum wages and increase in other input costs, the Company’s performance remained in line with Q1 last year. Consumption and production remained subdued with lack of clarity on the global scenario. Despite this, we are optimistic long term and continue to look to expand our network. Construction at Indore ICD has started and MMLP Ankleshwar has received customs permission for EXIM business which is expected to start operations in September. Snowman is also continuing its expansion and remains on track to reach a capacity of 170,000 pallets by middle of next year.”
