Ghaziabad, Sep 3 : EMS Limited a leading multi-disciplinary EPC company specialising in water, wastewater and sewerage infrastructure, has emerged as the Lowest Bidder (L-1) for a major sewerage project awarded by the Directorate of Local Bodies, Government of Rajasthan.
The project has an estimated value of ~Rs 218.65 crore (including GST), and covers sewerage and septage management works across six Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) in the districts of Ganganagar, Hanumangarh and Churu in Rajasthan.
The scope of work includes sewerage systems with Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs), along with laying, jointing, testing and commissioning of sewerage networks. The project also includes a one-year defect liability period and 10 years of Operations & Maintenance (O&M), with an execution period of 18 months.
The latest L-1 status further strengthens EMS Limited’s order pipeline. It reinforces its growing presence in Rajasthan, while adding to its portfolio of projects focused on urban sanitation, wastewater management and sustainable water infrastructure.
Order Pipeline
EMS Limited continues to witness healthy tender activity across its core business segments. As of June 30, 2026, the company’s order book stood at Rs 2,328.91 crore.
In June 2026, the company received L-1 status for another sewerage project in Varanasi valued at approximately Rs 102.85 crore, further demonstrating the company’s strong participation in urban water and sanitation projects.

The latest project development comes amid improving operating performance for EMS Limited. During Q1 FY27, the company reported standalone operating income of Rs 125.72 crore, up 50.27% sequentially, while standalone EBITDA increased 39.81% to ₹25.53 crore. On a consolidated basis, operating income stood at Rs 157.24 crore, up to 30.49% sequentially, while EBITDA increased 31.62% to Rs 28.14 crore. The company remains focused on leveraging its expertise across water supply, sewerage, wastewater treatment and related infrastructure to participate in the growing opportunity presented by India’s urban infrastructure development.
