Noida: The four-day District Play Creators League, organised at IMS Noida, Sector 62, concluded with an exciting and closely contested final. The final match between IMS Warriors and Migsun Champions witnessed an intense battle, with both teams putting up an impressive performance. The match ended in a 6-6 draw in regulation time, following which the winner was decided through a penalty shootout. Migsun Champions emerged victorious in the shootout to clinch the league title.
Speaking about the final, Reena Massey, Sports Coordinator, IMS, said that both teams displayed an attacking style of play right from the beginning. Fast passing, goal-scoring attempts and strong defensive play kept the spectators engaged throughout the match. Both teams challenged each other strongly, taking the contest down to the final moments. After the match ended in a 6-6 draw, Migsun Champions delivered a better performance in the penalty shootout to secure the victory.

Earlier, in the semi-final matches, IMS Warriors defeated Stellarin FC 5-1 to secure their place in the final. In the second semi-final, Migsun Champions and Vishwakarma Sports FC played out a thrilling 3-3 draw in regulation time. Migsun Champions subsequently won the penalty shootout to book their place in the final.
The league provided players with an opportunity to showcase their footballing talent while promoting teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship and a competitive spirit among young players.
