NEW YORK, May 19 — Sisense, the leading AI-first analytics platform for product and app teams, today announced that Cropin, the world’s largest AI platform for food and agriculture, has deployed Sisense to power embedded analytics across Cropin Cloud. By integrating Sisense directly into its product experience, Cropin transformed analytics from a manual, request-driven process into a scalable, self-service capability, delivering faster insights to customers worldwide.

Cropin helps leading CPG, food retail, food processing companies, and government organizations digitize farming operations across more than 100 countries. Its AI-powered solutions enable intelligent agriculture by improving productivity, sustainability, climate resilience, and risk management.

Before Sisense, Cropin relied on disconnected reporting and ETL tools that required multiple teams to support analytics delivery. Report requests often took three to six weeks to complete, creating bottlenecks for customers and internal teams alike.

“Before Sisense, every request had to go through [our team], and it was a long process involving multiple teams,” said Prakhyath Hegde, Head of Technology, Product, & AI Labs at Cropin.

As Cropin modernized its architecture and launched Cropin Cloud, the company evaluated several analytics vendors, including Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik, ultimately selecting Sisense for its embedded analytics capabilities, scalability, multi-tenancy support, and flexible APIs and SDKs.

Using Sisense Compose SDK and other embedding capabilities, Cropin integrated analytics directly into Cropin Cloud as a seamless, fully white-labeled experience that feels native to the platform.

“Sisense gave us a way to scale as a product,” said Hegde. “We are now able to scale our business without needing additional headcount.”

With Sisense, Cropin enabled self-service analytics for its customers, automated onboarding and analytics setup across customers and geographies, and deployed secure, customer-specific analytics environments at global scale using ElastiCubes and role-level security.

By modernizing its analytics capabilities with Sisense, Cropin achieved significant operational and customer experience improvements, including:

  • Report turnaround times reduced from 3-6 weeks to near-instant for self-service analytics users
  • New analytics development cycles shortened to 1-2 week sprint cycles
  • Global scalability without increasing engineering headcount
  • Reduced dependency on internal reporting teams through self-service analytics

“Now we extend developer access to our customers, and they can build reports themselves instead of depending on us,” Hegde said.

Cropin is now exploring Sisense Intelligence capabilities, including natural language querying and GenAI-powered analytics, to make insights even more accessible to non-technical users.

“We are looking forward to using Sisense Intelligence capabilities to build reports using natural language queries,” said Hegde.

“Cropin is a strong example of how embedded analytics can become a core part of the product experience,” said Andrew Loomis, VP of Customer Success at Sisense. “Their team has built a scalable platform that delivers actionable insights globally while maintaining operational efficiency as they grow.”
