STONY BROOK, N.Y., Sept 4 — BNB Plus Corp. (OTCQB: BNBX) (“BNB Plus” or the “Company”) today announced the appointment of three new members to its Board of Directors, identified as part of the Company’s ongoing strategic review process. The incoming members of the Board bring extensive experience across corporate restructuring, institutional finance, digital assets, and the network infrastructure at the core of modern and decentralized compute networks.

New Board members include:

Richard Shorten, will become Chairman of the Board. Mr. Shorten brings more than thirty years of public company transformation experience, having led numerous IPO, going-private and strategic combination transactions, along with an extensive history in communications networks and datacenter infrastructure. He is the Founder and General Partner of Silvermine Capital Advisors, a digital asset investment firm, and Chairman of GlobalStake, a Web3 infrastructure provider. Mr. Shorten began his career as a corporate attorney at Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York.

Lok Lee, is the Managing Member of 2L Advisors, an investment firm focused on the digital infrastructure economy, and manager of Good Morning Holdings. Mr. Lee previously held several senior investment banking positions, including Managing Director and European Co-Head of Leveraged Capital Markets for UBS Investment Bank. He is also a Venture Partner at Tuesday Capital (formerly Crunchfund) and a director of Insight Digital Partners II (NASDAQ: DYOR), a special purpose acquisition company seeking a business combination in the digital infrastructure economy.

Todd Larsen, is the President of Nexis Solutions, the global business information and analytics division of LexisNexis, where he oversees the company’s worldwide portfolio of research and intelligence solutions serving enterprises, financial institutions, professional services firms and government organizations. Mr. Larsen previously served as Executive Vice President of Time, Inc. and President of Dow Jones & Co.

Messrs. Shorten, Lee and Larsen will replace Robert Catell, Joseph Ceccolli and Yacov Shamash. James Haft and Judith Murrah will continue in their current Board roles.
