Mangaluru/Bengaluru, September 15, 2026: BHIMA today handed over the keys to a BMW X1 to H. Shashi Shetty, the grand prize winner of its recently concluded Bhima Brilliance Diamond Jewellery Festival, turning his jewellery purchase into an unexpected and memorable win.
The handover took place today at Bhima’s Mangaluru showroom, where Shetty was joined by his family to mark the occasion. The BMW X1 was the Grand Bumper Prize of the month-long diamond jewellery festival, which brought together customers from across Bhima’s 21 showrooms in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
The lucky draw was conducted at Bhima’s Koramangala showroom in Bengaluru on August 17, 2026. Mr. Shetty, who had made his purchase at the Bhima Mangaluru store, emerged as the winner from entries received during the campaign.
For Shetty, the occasion marked an unexpected turn to what began as a regular jewellery purchase. “I never imagined that a jewellery purchase would lead to something as special as winning a BMW X1. The BHIMA Brilliance Diamond Jewellery Festival, held from July 9 to August 9, 2026, was centred on diamond jewellery and featured a curated range of certified diamond collections, including bridal jewellery, solitaires, contemporary designs, lightweight everyday pieces and occasion wear. The campaign also featured special customer benefits and the Grand Bumper Prize.
