New Delhi, Aug 3: The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India has signed two strategic Memorandums of Understanding  with Business France and the India & Arab Countries Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture  to deepen international business cooperation, facilitate trade and investment, and create new opportunities for enterprises across India, France, and the Arab world.

The agreements mark an important step in ASSOCHAM’s efforts to strengthen India’s global economic partnerships by fostering institutional collaboration, promoting business exchanges, facilitating investments, supporting technology partnerships, and enhancing market access for companies across key sectors.

Under the partnership with Business France, both organisations will work together to facilitate trade and investment opportunities, encourage technology collaboration and joint ventures, support business delegations, exchange market intelligence, and organise trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, and other business promotion activities to strengthen India-France economic engagement.

The MoU with IACCIA will focus on promoting bilateral trade and investment between India and the Arab world through business delegations, exchange of trade and investment information, facilitation of joint ventures and technology transfer, and organisation of business events that help enterprises explore new markets and build long-term commercial partnerships.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Saurabh Sanyal, Secretary General, ASSOCHAM, said:

“The Arab region and India share long-standing economic and cultural ties. This MoU provides an important platform to facilitate greater business interaction, encourage investment partnerships and strengthen commercial cooperation for the mutual benefit of enterprises across both regions.”

The MoUs were signed during the ASSOCHAM MoU Signing Ceremony held in New Delhi in the presence of senior representatives from the partner organisations.

These partnerships reinforce ASSOCHAM’s commitment to advancing India’s global trade agenda by creating stronger institutional networks, promoting cross-border investments, encouraging innovation-led collaborations, and enabling businesses to access new opportunities across international markets.
