New Delhi, Apr 30: Asian Footwears, one of India’s leading homegrown footwear brands, has launched its first limited-edition concept sneaker, ‘Mojo Clay’, in a one-time drop created for India’s growing sneaker community. Inspired by clay’s earthy tone and natural texture, ‘Mojo Clay’ brings a fresh, grounded look to the brand’s sneaker line-up. The design draws from the idea of something raw being shaped into something distinct, a concept that reflects both the sneaker’s look, and its limited-run appeal. Built through over 200 design iterations, ‘Mojo Clay’ features an earthy colour palette and a bold silhouette that balances statement style with everyday wearability. The launch also reflects Asian Footwears’ growing focus on more curated, concept-led sneaker drops. Only 1,500 pairs of ‘Mojo Clay’ will be produced, and the style will not be repeated, making it a true one-drop release for collectors and sneaker enthusiasts.

Speaking on the launch, Mr. Aayush Jindal, CEO, Asian Footwears, said,
“We wanted to create something that feels different from a regular sneaker launch, something that speaks to people who look at sneakers as part of their identity. With ‘Mojo Clay’, we’re bringing together a strong design idea, a limited drop and a sense of exclusivity that our community values.”
Adding to the experience, each ‘Mojo Clay’ box will include a piece of clay and stencils, allowing consumers to shape and personalise a miniature sneaker form. The interactive element extends the drop beyond the shoe itself, making it more collectible and engaging, as highlighted by Deva, Design Lead at Asian Footwears.
“This is just the beginning for us,” added Mr. Jindal. “We see limited-edition launches like this as a way to connect more closely with sneaker lovers who want something fresh, rare and meaningful.”
Known for its durable and value-driven footwear, Asian Footwears is using its design and manufacturing strength to build a more elevated sneaker story while expanding its presence across India.
