Mumbai, April 16: Greaves Electric Mobility (GEML), a leading player in India’s electric mobility landscape, has secured two prestigious recognitions at The Economic Times Awards for Design & Creativity 2026. The company’s Ampere Xpress Concept electric two-wheeler and Greaves Xargo electric three-wheeler cargo vehicle were awarded Gold and Silver respectively for product design and creative mobility design.

The Ampere Xpress Concept, often described as the ‘Swiss Army Knife of Scooters’, received the Gold Award for Most Creative B2B Product Design. Meanwhile, the Greaves Xargo earned the Silver Award for Most Creative Mobility Design. These accolades reinforce GEML’s position as a design-led EV manufacturer focused on delivering innovative and purpose-driven mobility solutions for India.

Designed as a next-generation B2B mobility solution, the Ampere Xpress Concept addresses the evolving demands of last-mile delivery and logistics ecosystems. Its rugged design, modular architecture, and connected features make it a versatile option for commercial use. The scooter offers a payload capacity of approximately 230 kg, a top speed of 60 kmph, and flexible battery options, including battery-swapping compatibility.

The Greaves Xargo, on the other hand, has been developed as a modular cargo carrier tailored for commercial applications. It features a payload capacity of 300 kg, a 5kWh battery, and a range of up to 100 km on a single charge. Both concepts are equipped with IoT-enabled connectivity, making them ideal for high-usage scenarios such as gig economy operations, delivery services, and fleet management.
