Insel spent the last 16 years with First Citizens Bank, where he served as regional executive vice president. He has strong ties to the Atlanta area, having spent nearly a decade with SunTrust, now Truist, in commercial, retail, private and business banking. His experience building high-performing teams and driving relationship-based deposit growth will support Ameris Bank’s continued momentum in the market.
