LANSING, Mich., June 8 — Adams Outdoor Advertising has completed the acquisition of 20 static billboard faces from Key Locations Outdoor, strengthening its presence across West Michigan and Northern Indiana while establishing the company’s first entry into Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
The acquisition builds on Adams’ March 2026 purchase of 118 static bulletins and three digital billboard faces from Bullfrog Outdoor, which expanded the company’s footprint into key Northern Indiana markets, including Fort Wayne, South Bend, Elkhart, Goshen, Warsaw, and Michigan City. Together, the acquisitions advance Adams’ tuck-in growth strategy by increasing market density, enhancing regional connectivity, and creating greater opportunities for advertisers to reach consumers across the Midwest.
The Key Locations assets include strategically positioned billboards along Interstate 69 and U.S. Highway 131, two heavily traveled corridors connecting major population centers, commercial hubs, and distribution routes throughout southern Michigan and Northern Indiana. The portfolio also includes a billboard along U.S. Highway 2 in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, a key route serving travelers moving between Wisconsin and the Mackinac Bridge. These locations deliver consistent exposure to a diverse audience of daily commuters, commercial trucking traffic, and seasonal tourists, while benefiting from extended viewing times and limited competing media options.
“Michigan has long been one of our strongest and most important markets, and these locations further enhance the value we can deliver to advertisers across the region,” said Kevin Jones, Chief Executive Officer of Adams Outdoor Advertising. “By connecting major interstate corridors, regional business centers, and now the Upper Peninsula, we’re creating an even more comprehensive network that helps brands reach consumers wherever they travel.”
Adams Outdoor Advertising operates more than 2,500 billboard faces throughout Michigan, making it one of the state’s largest billboard networks. The expanded footprint provides advertisers with extensive coverage across major highways, commuter routes, and high-traffic retail corridors, reinforcing Adams’ position as a leading out-of-home advertising company in the Midwest.
