1st October 2026: BNW Developments, a UAE-based luxury real estate developer, has been named the Title Sponsor of Season 3 of the World Championship of Legends (WCL), as the international T20 league makes its debut in the UAE from October 3 to 18, 2026.
Under the partnership, the tournament will be titled the BNW Developments World Championship of Legends (BNW Developments WCL). Matches will be played across Dubai and Sharjah, bringing together former international cricket stars representing seven nations. WCL’s official schedule confirms the tournament will run from October 3 to 18, with the India Champions vs Pakistan Champions fixture scheduled for October 10 in Dubai.
The partnership comes at a significant point in BNW Developments’ expansion, with India emerging as one of the company’s key overseas markets. Indian buyers accounted for 14.38% of BNW Developments’ business in the first half of 2026, according to the company. BNW has also announced plans to develop approximately 10,000 homes across Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah over the next four years while expanding its engagement with Indian investors and channel partners.
The WCL partnership gives BNW an opportunity to strengthen its engagement with a large cricket-following audience in India while further building awareness of its UAE real estate portfolio. The tournament features several well-known former international cricketers, including Yuvraj Singh, Shahid Afridi, AB de Villiers, Chris Gayle, David Warner, Moeen Ali and Mahmudullah Riyad.
For BNW Developments, the association also builds on the company’s existing connection with cricket. Under the leadership of Chairman and Founder Dr. (CA) Ankur Aggarwal, BNW has established the BNW Legends Cup, an intra-company cricket tournament that brings together members of its wider real estate ecosystem around the sport.
