UP, Aug 19: Strengthening its commitment to India’s manufacturing growth and the Government’s Make in India vision, Summercool Home Appliances is set to roll out a new 1 lakh sq. ft. manufacturing facility at Meerut Road Industrial Area, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Supported by an investment of approximately INR 50 crore, the new manufacturing hub is expected to start commercial operations from October 2026, coinciding with the festive season of Navratri.
The upcoming facility will strongly boost Summercool’s production ability and further reinforce Uttar Pradesh’s standing as a go-to destination for consumer durable manufacturing. Spread over 100,000 sq. ft., the plant is expected to make around 50,000–60,000 air coolers every month, letting the company address rising shopper demand while it broadens its market presence across India.
The project is also projected to create 500+ employment opportunities, both direct and indirect. About 200–300 direct jobs will come up at the manufacturing site, while another 200 indirect opportunities are likely through the supply chain, logistics, distribution, and other related industries, supporting the region’s economic development.
Along with producing items under the Summercool brand, the company will also work on contract manufacturing for other leading appliance brands, thereby adding more strength to India’s domestic manufacturing and supporting the growing need for locally made air coolers.
