Calicut, Aug 18: Calicut Football Club has retained Ever Adriano Demaldé as its head coach for the 2026 Super League Kerala season. The 39-year-old Argentine, who took charge of the club ahead of the previous season, will once again lead the team as preparations gather pace for the new campaign.
Demaldé brings with him a wealth of international coaching experience, having previously served as assistant coach for the Saudi Arabia national team and French club Marseille. Over the years, he has also managed clubs including Herrera FC, FC Dila, Independiente Rivadavia and Al Hilal United, building a reputation for his tactical acumen and modern coaching philosophy.
“Ever has brought professionalism, discipline and a clear footballing identity to the club. His international exposure and understanding of the modern game continue to strengthen our vision for Calicut FC. Last season’s performance, where we topped the league table with 23 points from 10 matches, reflects the progress the team has made under his leadership. We are delighted to have him continue as our head coach and are confident that he will guide the team towards another successful season,” said Korath Mathew, CEO, Calicut FC.
Known for his attacking philosophy, structured ball-possession approach and high-intensity pressing, Demaldé has been instrumental in shaping the club’s competitive style of play.
