New Delhi, July 27: Hansraj College, University of Delhi, warmly welcomed its incoming undergraduate students through a grand Orientation Programme for the academic session 2026–27, held on July 27, 2026. The event marked the beginning of an exciting academic journey for the new students and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, parents, faculty members, and college staff.
The day commenced at 9:00 AM with a traditional Havan at the Yagyashala, invoking blessings for the students as they embark on a new phase of learning and growth. The formal inaugural ceremony began at 10:00 AM in the Library Auditorium with the soulful rendition of the DAV Gaan, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The programme also featured vibrant cultural performances by Hansraj College students, reflecting the institution’s rich artistic and cultural heritage.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. Vijay Rani Rajpal, Vice-Principal, Hansraj College, highlighted the institution’s holistic approach to education.
