New Delhi, July 02: FORE School of Management hosted its annual induction ceremony at Bharat Mandapam for the incoming PGDM 2026–28 and FPM Batch–08. The event brought together students, parents, faculty, alumni and industry leaders, marking the beginning of the new academic session.
The new batch comprises students from diverse academic backgrounds, including management (29.34%), commerce (26.04%), engineering & IT (19.03%), Science (13.33%), Arts (9.43%), Law (1.04%) and other disciplines (1.79%). Representing 25 states, 71.7% of the students have joined from outside Delhi, reflecting the institute’s diverse national footprint.
Addressing the students, Mr Rajesh Magow, Co-Founder & Group CEO, MakeMyTrip, said, “AI is here, and it is here to stay. With unprecedented investments driving AI innovation, this is the new reality. What will continue to distinguish human potential is judgement, adaptability, and the ability to work with people. These are the capabilities students must consciously develop to succeed in an AI-driven world.”Mr. Bikas Kumar Singh, Vice President & India Head, Government Affairs, SAP, encouraged students to prepare themselves for India’s growth journey. He said, “Viksit Bharat by 2047 is not a dream; it is an inevitability. Build your foundation on discipline, integrity, patience and perseverance. Along with ethics, empathy and equity, remain lifelong learners because adaptability and continuous learning will define future leaders.”Welcoming the new batch, Prof. BBL Madhukar, Chairman, FORE School of Management, said, “Every meaningful journey begins with the courage to take the first step. I see dreams, aspirations and the potential to create meaningful change. Institutions are ultimately remembered not by the buildings they create, but by the people they shape.”Prof. Subir Verma, Director, FORE School of Management, highlighted the institute’s evolving approach to management education. He said, “We have comprehensively redesigned our curriculum to prepare students not merely for their first job but for a lifetime of learning and leadership. The curriculum now focuses on analytical thinking, digital readiness, AI awareness, data literacy, sustainability, strategic decision-making and social-emotional intelligence, while maintaining strong industry engagement through regular interactions with business leaders.”
Prof. Sriparna Basu, Dean (Academics), encouraged students to embrace the challenges ahead with resilience and collaboration. She urged them to rely on the support of peers, faculty and the wider FORE community as they grow into responsible professionals who lead with conscience and compassion.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Sanghamitra Buddhapriya, Dean & Head, Gurugram Campus, who encouraged students to remain rooted in values, embrace learning and leave a positive impact wherever their journey takes them.
The induction programme introduced students to the institute’s academic philosophy, industry engagement initiatives and vibrant campus life, reaffirming FORE School of Management‘s commitment to nurturing responsible, future-ready leaders.
