Kolkata, June 9 : The cast and crew members of the much-awaited original action thriller from Bangla ZEE5 stable, TAARKATA assembled today to unveil the signature track of the series, ‘Bheshe Jaai’.
Bheshe Jai, a vibrant musical offering that captures the emotional pulse and essence of TAARKATA. Penned and composed by Soumit Deb, the song has been produced by Kuntal De, who has also handled the guitar, programming and arrangements. The track features lead vocals by Koushik Chakraborty & Kuntal De. The song has been mixed and mastered by GJ Storm.
Directed by Shamik Roy Choudhury, TAARKATA is a gripping blend of mystery, action, dark humour and psychological intrigue that follows the journey of Agni, a former cop who returns to his hometown to investigate a mysterious death, only to find himself confronting a past he had long tried to leave behind.
The series features a stellar ensemble cast including Vikram Chatterjee as Agni, Priyanka Sarkar as Chhanda, Meiyang Chang, making his debut for the first time in a Bengali project, as Dodo, Joydip Mukherjee as Ashok Chowdhury, Satyam Bhattacharya as Bumba Bagchi and Ayush Das as Tintin, alongside a talented supporting cast. TAARKATA also marks a significant milestone as the first production venture under Vikram Chatterjee Films.

With its compelling storyline, talented ensemble cast and evocative soundtrack, TAARKATA is set to premiere exclusively on Bangla ZEE5 from 12th June, 2026.
