India, Apr 1:On its 26th Foundation Day, Team One Architects (TOA) unveiled the Master Plan for LFU University Campus in the Ghatangiri Hills of Dharashiv Maharashtra.
With a total investment of INR 3 crore in land and 8+ crores in development, the project underscores the firm’s commitment to building world-class infrastructure and creating a holistic ecosystem in regions that have long remained underserved.
Spanning a footprint of 75,000 sq.ft in Phase 1; with 33,000 sq.ft to follow within a 5.5 acres of land area, the campus is built around the design philosophy of a “home away from home.” Its architectural language is intentionally warm, familiar, and human-scaled, comprising of independent structures linked with a central green corridor that functions like a social hub and a movement corridor.
Inspired by rural settlement patterns, the campus integrates smart classrooms, residential facilities for around 200 students, recreational spaces, and ecological features, that contributes to holistic, design focused ecosystem.
At its core, the institution caters to aspiring medical students from Maharashtra’s agrarian heartland; many of them who are first generation learners pursuing higher education. Beyond professional growth, the campus is designed to foster civic and ethical learning, preparing graduates to lead with skill and social responsibility.
