Motivating the students, Ms. Pallavi Y Singh, International Trainer, stated,

“In today’s era, we have a lot of distractions, such as Social Media and mobile phones, which drain our energy and are harmful for our emotional well-being. Success can be divided into two parts- inner success and outer success. Inner success is when our mind is peaceful and we are happy and calm from within, whereas outer success is materialistic and focused on attaining wealth. Mental clarity is very important as being unclear creates confusion, leads to procrastination and making wrong decisions. When we have clarity, we are able to make better decisions, with more confidence and well-defined goals. Students must practice meditation to build emotional intelligence, resilience and confidence. Mediation trains the brain to concentrate, reduce distractions and enhance memory.”

Sharing her journey, DJ Barkha Kaul, averred,

“I started my career as a model, however, I was not happy with what I was doing. I was passionate about music, so I chose to become a DJ which was a very unconventional career choice for women. Initially I faced many challenges, and my career choice was always judged by society, but slowly I started feeling confident, when people started appreciating my work. In order to be successful, one must be disciplined in life. Aligning your mind, body and soul is very important since these three are the most powerful elements of the human body. Students must stay away from negativity, make good friends and uplift their energy. Also, it is crucial to keep learning and upgrading your skills with time since knowledge becomes stagnant, if not updated regularly.”

Dr. Eeshani Saraswat, Deputy Director Amity Finishing School said,

“Amity Finishing School is committed to nurturing the skills of the students, developing their personality and groom them so that they can become confident professionals who are ready to face any kind of challenges. Our experts’ inspirational journeys will motivate the students and make them future-ready.”

On this occasion, an exhibition titled “Senora” was also held wherein stalls of handcrafted jewelry, clothes and accessories, attracted the visitors in large numbers.
