Bengaluru, Feb 27: A group of passionate bikers from The Glocal Content (TGC), a vibrant Bengaluru-based rider community, gained vital life-saving skills through a hands-on emergency response and CPR training session at Prakriya Hospitals, Nagasandra equipping riders with essential skills for road safety.
Prakriya’s expert doctors conducted a hands-on CPR training session tailored for riders, equipping them with life-saving skills amid rising road accidents in urban areas. Participants started with interactive demonstrations of precise chest compressions and rescue breaths, mastering the rhythm and technique under close guidance. They then progressed to using automated external defibrillators (AEDs), learning to assess victims and deliver shocks swiftly. Riders applied these in realistic scenarios like roadside crashes, simulating high-pressure emergencies they might encounter on Bengaluru’s busy streets.
This training empowers two-wheeler enthusiasts, who face heightened risks, to act confidently as first responders, potentially saving lives before professional help arrives. The session underscores how such preparedness turns everyday riders into community heroes during critical moments.
“Prakriya Hospital’s training transformed us from thrill-seekers to lifesavers, now we’re ready for any road emergency,” said TGC rider and participant, xyz.
This initiative reinforces Prakriya Hospitals’ commitment to community health, equipping bikers with the confidence to respond effectively and foster safer journeys.
