Gandhinagar,  Mar 5: Polycab, India’s largest manufacturer of wires and cables and one of the fastest-growing players in the Fast Moving Electrical Goods segment, participated in Intersolar India 2026, part of The Smarter E India, held from February 25–27 at the Helipad Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The event brought together over 300 exhibitors and more than 19,000 visitors from across the renewable energy ecosystem, spanning solar, energy storage, green hydrogen, and electric mobility.

The participation comes at a pivotal time for India’s renewable energy growth, with solar capacity surpassing 100 GW and ambitious national targets driving the transition toward 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030. Western India, led by Gujarat, continues to play a dominant role in this expansion, accounting for a significant share of renewable deployment while accelerating developments in solar, battery storage, and green hydrogen hubs.
