Mar 17: Hitachi Vantara, a subsidiary of Hitachi Ltd. announced significant enhancements to its Hitachi iQ portfolio. The updates include advanced AI blueprints, multi-agent coordination capabilities in Hitachi iQ Studio, expanded infrastructure support with NVIDIA AI systems, and deeper data integration to support agentic AI across on-premises and virtualized environments.
These advancements position Hitachi iQ as a comprehensive, enterprise-grade AI platform, enabling organizations to securely build, deploy, and manage AI agents within their own environments while maintaining governance and compliance.
Addressing Enterprise AI Challenges
As organizations transition from AI experimentation to production-scale deployment, challenges related to data complexity, sovereignty, and governance continue to grow. The enhanced Hitachi iQ portfolio is designed to bridge this gap by integrating AI-ready infrastructure, intelligent data orchestration, and enterprise-grade oversight.

Hitachi iQ Studio introduces new AI blueprints with structured agent roles, including supervisor and worker agents. These capabilities allow organizations to orchestrate complex workflows, automate processes, and maintain transparency and governance across AI operations.
The platform also expands support for advanced large language models and introduces time-aware data capabilities, enabling AI systems to analyze historical datasets with improved context and explainability—critical for data-driven industries.

Hitachi Vantara is also aligning with the latest NVIDIA STX reference architecture to develop AI-native storage solutions powered by next-generation technologies.
