UDBHAV 2025

The 6th National EMRS Cultural & Literary Fest and Kala Utsav – UDBHAV 2025 came to a successful close on 5 December 2025 at KL University in Vaddeswaram, Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh. The three-day national event, held from 3–5 December, was organised by the National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and hosted by the Andhra Pradesh Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (APTWREIS–Gurukulam), with strong institutional support from KL University.

The valedictory ceremony witnessed the presence of several distinguished dignitaries, including Smt. G. Sandhya Rani, Hon’ble Minister for Tribal Welfare and Women & Child Welfare; Dr. D. S. Swamy, Hon’ble Minister for Social Welfare, Disabled and Senior Citizen Welfare, Sachivalayam & Village Volunteer; and Shri Kandula Durgesh, Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Culture, Cinematography and Incharge Minister for Guntur. Shri M. M. Nayak, Secretary of the Social Welfare & Tribal Welfare Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh, also attended the programme, adding further prestige to the occasion.

During their addresses, the dignitaries applauded the exceptional performances of tribal students from across the country and reaffirmed the commitment of both Central and State Governments to advancing tribal education, cultural preservation, and youth empowerment. They emphasized that events like UDBHAV not only celebrate India’s vibrant tribal heritage but also play a crucial role in fostering confidence, leadership, and national exposure among tribal learners.
