03/07/2024- Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan is set to be honoured with the prestigious Pardo alla Carriera at the Locarno Film Festival. The award ceremony, scheduled for August 10 at the iconic Piazza Grande open-air venue, will celebrate Khan’s illustrious career in cinema. During the festival, one of Khan’s most acclaimed films, “Devdas,” directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, will also be screened, highlighting his contribution to Indian cinema.
Known for his enduring popularity and connection with audiences, Shah Rukh Khan recently made a remarkable return to the big screen with blockbusters like YRF’s “Pathaan” and Atlee’s “Jawan,” both of which set new records at the box office in 2023. His third release of the year, Rajkumar Hirani’s “Dunki,” further solidified his status as a box office powerhouse.
