21st June 2024- Schools in Odisha are set to reopen on June 22, and schools in Odisha are set to adjust their timings starting June 21, as per a recent announcement by School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond. In response to prevailing weather conditions, all schools across the state will function from 6:30 am to 10:30 am on June 21. From June 22 onwards, schools will resume normal operations.
The decision was confirmed through a notification from the Information & Public Relations (I&PR) department, ensuring that educational activities continue while considering the safety and comfort of students amid varying weather patterns.
This adjustment aims to provide a conducive learning environment for students, balancing academic progress with weather-related concerns. Parents and educational stakeholders are encouraged to adhere to the revised timings as part of ongoing efforts to manage school operations effectively.
