To celebrate International Women’s Day, Sanathan Textiles organized a self-defence and martial arts training session for its women employees, reinforcing the company’s commitment to women’s empowerment and workplace safety.

The initiative, proposed by the company’s POSH Committee, was designed to help women build confidence, physical strength, and practical self-protection skills. Moving beyond traditional celebrations, the session focused on supporting female employees in personal safety and overall wellbeing. This training was conducted for our Mumbai HO and will also be conducted for our Female employees at our Manufacturing Plant site i.e. Silvassa and Punjab – during the ongoing Safety Week 2026.
The training emphasized that empowerment goes beyond the workplace, encouraging women to feel confident, independent, and prepared to face everyday challenges with resilience.
Commenting on the initiative, Mr Sammir Dattani, Executive Director, Sanathan Textiles, said
“At Sanathan Textiles, we believe empowerment begins with confidence and the ability to feel safe and secure in every environment. This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting and uplifting our women employees by equipping them with skills that strengthen both their confidence and independence. As an organization, we remain dedicated to fostering a culture where women feel respected, valued, and empowered to thrive.”
Through this initiative, Sanathan Textiles continues to reaffirm its commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment for women, both within the workplace and beyond.
