Kolkata, June 25, 2024: ManipalCigna Health Insurance, one of India’s fastest-growing standalone health insurance company , organized a women career development program, “Nayi Shuruaat, Expert Ke Saath” in Kolkata. This unique women empowerment initiative is designed to educate and train women to become health insurance advisors.
The event was conducted by industry experts, Sapna Desai, Chief Marketing Officer, ManipalCigna Health Insurance and Rohit Mital, Zonal Head, ManipalCigna Health Insurance. As part of its women career development program, the company plans to on-board 1,500+ women advisors this year, in Kolkata.

ManipalCigna’s “Nayi Shuruaat, Expert Ke Sath”, women empowerment drive commenced with a brief introduction and a Keynote Session by Sapna Desai, who talked about the various roles women play in the society and the expert knowledge the possess in their family’s health, education, and financial aspects. The event was attended by 100+ women who aspire to be health insurance advisors. The session was followed by a training and certification programme that covered effective sales strategies and details on ManipalCigna’s Health Insurance product offerings. Following the session was an interactive panel discussion “ManipalCigna Women of Wonder”, comprising of leading women advisors of ManipalCigna Health Insurance from Kolkata, who have been successful and have had an exceptional journey with the company. The event concluded with felicitating these wonderful women for their contributions.
