As counting progresses in the Lok Sabha elections 2024, the BJP has surged ahead of the Opposition alliance, setting ambitious targets of 370 seats for itself and 400 seats for the NDA. Analysts widely anticipate a third term for Prime Minister Narendra Modi based on these developments.

This year’s Lok Sabha election marks the second-longest in India’s electoral history since its inaugural election in 1951-52.
